A full range of well woman services is available including smears. An appointment can be made to see the doctor or the nurse. Dr Day has a special interest in the health of women and children.

Family planning services are available at all surgeries. Emergency contraception (post coital) by seeing any doctor or the practice nurse. This is also available from your local pharmacy. If you tell the receptionist you need this service you will be seen right away.

Mothers-to-be can book themselves into local maternity services (0141 232 4005) by the 12th week of pregnancy and thereafter will be looked after by the midwife.  Postnatal checks are done by the nurse.

We are greatly concerned about these increasingly common health problems. They can be discussed at any surgery. We are fortunate to have specialist staff to help. They are experienced in looking after all mental health issues including psychological problems, stress, depression and postnatal depression.
